It’s hard to go out these days when the pandemic period is hanging in the air, stopping us from our daily routines, tasks and appointments. It’s not hard to understand either that we all might feel hopeless about the whole situation, when all we could do is waiting. But it doesn’t mean that we can’t have a good time at home. Here’s a few things one can do in order to make time go faster.
Study
If you’re still in school, now is a great time to gather all your study materials and reorganize everything. Or if you always wanted to learn something new, like a language, physics or philosophy, you can search for it online to self learn, or make a group chat with people who are interested in the same subject. It’s funnier if you learn things together too.
Workout
Instead of going to the gym, why not look up some fabulous workout videos and do those aerobic moves at home? There are also many other exercises you can do indoors, like jumping exercises, yoga, tai chi, martial arts, dancing, etc. The list goes on. 🏃🏻♀️
Call your friends and relatives
Spending your entire days at home might get lonely, and a good way to beat that loneliness is to call up your near and dear ones. Ask them how they’re doing, send them some funny intern jokes, or virtual hugs, and just laugh away your worries for a moment.
Plan your meals
When your daily schedule has changed, planning your meals at home could be a great idea. Reducing food waste is always important in order to save the environment and the wallet, but it’s also important during these days if you can’t go grocery shopping regularly.
Organize your home
So many things to do here, am I right? (Unless you’re a super organized person already) It’s up to your decision where you want to clean! I myself am heading for my closet, desk and book shelf. Next up is my kitchen drawers and fridge.
Maintaining your hobbies
Like reading books, drawing, knitting, or playing an instrument?
These are just a few ideas, and don’t forget to take care of yourselves.
Love,
Kathleen
